select™ Pillow with leather appliqués

Finished size approximately 36x60cm (14 ”x24 ”)

  • Choose a shape for your appliqué and make a template.
  • Trace template onto leather pieces in your preferred colors. Cut out the appliqués.
  • Put your pieces in place with INSPIRA™ Double Sided Fusible Web and don’t forget to put a cloth in between the iron and the leather.
  • Use the reinforced straight stitch and a topstitch needle to sew the appliqués to the base fabric.  A heavier thread will add texture for a more decorative look.
  • Finish pillow as desired. We used an invisible zipper.
